Sideline Power is continuing its growth. This time with the addition of an internship program for college students in the area. The sales team was looking for a little help, while also simultaneously helping Nebraska’s college students expand their education. The sales team was looking for an Assistant Sales Manager Intern to help focus on growing the college and university market. The desired intern candidate would have an aspiration to learn more about the business while also having a passion for football and sales. Sideline Power, LLC is proud to announce Brenden Buskirk as the new Assistant Sales Manager Intern.
Brenden is a current student at Wayne State College where he will graduate in December with a degree in Speech Communication. He grew up in Springfield, NE before moving to Papillion to attend high school at Papillion South. A three-sport athlete in high school, Brenden excelled in baseball and football, winning multiple state titles in baseball and earning a chance to play college football at Wayne State College. After a string of injuries, Brenden decided to hang up the cleats and focus on other extracurricular activities, including a sales internship with Marianna Industries and a staff writer position with Wayne State’s student newspaper. Brenden proved that he could excel off the field when he won a Golden Leaf award, an award given by the Nebraska Collegiate Media Association, for an article he wrote in The Wayne Stater. Brenden was also awarded a top panel at the Central States Communication Association Conference this year for a research project he worked on. These accomplishments, among others, has Sideline Power excited that they have a new team member who will help the company continue their excellence in coaching communication and technology.
